We’ve all been there – the start of a new school year – and we know it creates a lot of different feelings for a lot of different people! Some kids are excited, some are nervous, some can’t wait to get out of the house, and others would want to stay home forever. One thing that helps tremendously is new and fun school supplies!! In general, being ready for the school year helps excite us. It’s our chance to help over 800 students prepare and help feel excited about returning to school! We hope that you’ll volunteer through time or money, knowing that God is working through you to help kids get ready for the school year!!
One of our partner schools, Dade Middle School, is collecting school supplies for their students. Also, Wesley Rankin needs our support! They are both looking for composition books, highlighters, and packs of dividers. Please drop items off at the FUMC Dallas Welcome Desk by Sunday, August 6.

August 13 during 11 a.m. worship, all teachers and students of all ages are welcome to bring their backpacks to be blessed for the new year. Also, students will be transitioning to their new Sunday school areas based on the grade they are entering into.
