First Kids, the children’s ministry at FUMC Dallas, nurtures the faith journey of children from Kindergarten through 4th grade and equips parents and caregivers as active partners along the way. At its heart, First Kids is all about love—love for God, for self, for neighbor, and for the earth. Children gather on Sunday mornings at 9:30am for engaging, age-appropriate spiritual formation in a joyful and welcoming environment. We also offer a nurturing and secure Nursery for infants through Kindergarten-age children during both the 9:30am hour and the 11am worship service. Staffed by trained professionals, our nursery provides a safe, caring space for your little ones. A quiet, comfortable room is also available nearby for nursing, soothing, or simply taking a break. At FUMC Dallas, families of all kinds are welcomed, supported, and celebrated as part of our beloved community.  

Zone 56 is a space just for 5th and 6th graders to explore faith, ask big questions, and grow as young leaders. Through games, discussion, and lessons designed for preteens, students discover what it means to follow Jesus in real life. Meeting Sundays at 9:30am, Zone56 creates space for belonging, purpose, and joy during this pivotal season of growth.
